G Mail Password

I have had a g mail account for about 2 years and all of a sudden it has said that it has recently changed (not by me) and I need to reset it Does anyone know if there is a problem?

Are you sure you are Not being subjected to a scam.

If you can use it as you always have, I would say ignore the message you have had.

Go through the actual gmail site and reset the password

As already suggested, it could be a scam.
Have you had an email, telling you to change your password by "clicking on the following link"??
If so, delete the email and ignore it, as it'll prob just take you to a fake site where you'll input your details for the scammers to obtain.
If in doubt, access your gmail account via a trusted method, such as using your favourites, or by typing the address into the address bar.
