Chrome works with W10 for me and I also like Opera with its built in adblocker and Firefox works fine, too.
Try disabling all the addons and extensions in Chrome and see if that stops the problem. If it does, switch them back on one a time to try and identify the rogue.
Firefox is very popular with ABers (including me) and seems to work well with W10 (unless I've managed to miss any threads about problems with it). It's what I use (although I'm sticking with W7!):

Hi Buenchico, I hope you can help me, I seem to be running adbloc on my commercial tv programmes and dont know how to get rid of it, I can't watch channels 3,4 and 5 because of it. I have just had firefox installed as my vista no longer supports google chrome, I hope you can understand what I mean, I am a silver surfer and not very knowledgable. Thanks in advance, Kath
I had found Chrome to be excellent after I moved to it from IE and I prefer it to IE and Firefox which mrs f-f use. But over the last few weeks I have found that sometimes Chrome won't open and I end up restarting a couple of times, or using my other browser - Edge- which i don't otherwise like as much.
thanks fiction-factory but I don't really understand what you are saying. I no longer have Chrome because it was no longer supported. I just need to know how to take off adbloc so I can watch catch up on programmes I cannot watch on normal commercial tv. Should I go back to installing Google Chrome. I hope that helps you to understand what I mean. Thanx Kath.
To stop Adblock Plus working on a specific website, go to the relevant site and then click on the red 'ABP' button at the top right of your screen. Select 'Disable on [name of website]'.
Once you've done that, refresh the page which you're viewing by pressing F5 and everything should be fine.
