Ab Reverts To Oct 2013

I have an AB technical question that I'm doubting anyone can explain but there's always hope. As a result of the cat on numerous occasions over the last year or so her paws on laptop have sent AB back to 10th Oct 2013. It's the same page every time, latest posts has 'camera batteries' at the top and half way down a 'why do I attract them' that pixie was the latest to answer. If I click on any thread or latest post it just stays the same. Nothing I can do will get rid except shutting down.
So what combination is she hitting and more interestingly (to me) why is it always this date?

I had exactly the same thing with my last laptop. I put it down to corrupt innards after a small spillage.

I've seen that one come up on latest posts too. It scared me actually, because it was the username deactivated a year ago...

It's not just you or your cat - if I am too heavy handed with the 'back' arrow I end up there too and have to close and reopen.

Why it chooses that date I don't know.

Yes pixie it's mainly because it's you I realise it's always the same timeslot. Plus camera batteries stands out for me. It is really weird.

I wasn't sure what had happened either. I logged on and it looked like I - or someone-had just posted from my old account. Freaky... At least it's not just me then:-)

It's not just me then, curiouser and curiouser and yes pixie I can understand it makes your heart skip a beat.

Does closing you browsers off, waiting, then starting them again, help.
How many windows/tabs are open taking resources ?

and she goes on - its incredible, nothing else has changed except the date. Almost every post is exactly the same as three years later....

Is it a tabby cat that has favourite or preferred sites saved ? Delete history, and the cat will show you the future. (^_*)

PP I'll have to ask the cat if she realises, she's the only one who can do it.
OG I use Chrome. Closing Chrome doesn't help, it comes back the same. I can only come back if I completely shut down.

Two weeks ago my TV reverted to the previous Sunday and refused to let me know what was actually going to be shown
Eventually had to shut everything down and reboot
Never happened before
