Sons in Malta and he's just rang through telling me he cant use his iPad for emails and the internet ,is there something he should have done before he went or is it something happening out there Or is he pushing the wrong buttons
He's in a hotel with wi fi as his son can use his phone and that's all the info I have
Any help would be appreciated

Has he asked at reception for the Wi-Fi password?

Has he taken it off airplane mode?

As long as the wifi is switched on in settings there's no reason why the iPad won't pick up the hotel signal. He needs to make sure he enters the password exactly as is it given.
