Ebay And Amazon Connection ?
13 Answers
I have ordered a iphone charge lead from Ebay, and its coming from China sometime this week.
But I have had an email overnight from Amazon, that is trying to sell me the very same thing, from the same Ebay seller. I haven't shopped on Amazon for at least 2 years, so how did they know I had ordered something from Ebay ?

The 'Do not track' is a feature that tells an Internet site that one's preference is Not to be tracked. However, it remains as a site's option to abide by one's wishes or ignore the request.
Amazon has been advised by the Seller on E/Bay, from whom you have purchased.
Lots of Sellers on E/Bay are linked to Amazon by what is known as 'Amazon Market Place' and there is little that can be done to alter things; apart from ceasing to purchase items through E/Bay.
Hans.

On a previous occasion, about 2 years ago, a second-hand book I ordered from Ebay arrived from Amazon. When I enquired through Ebay, the seller told me that he was having some difficulty but wanted to fulfil my order, so "diverted" a copy from Amazon instead !
I suspect that is what has happened in this case. I shall know when the item arrives, as it should be in an Amazon package.
Incidentally, this LED charge cable for my iPhone 6 only costs £1:54, including postage from Singapore.........you wonder where the profit is for these companies !
