Just checking my SIL's line for them and it says there's a 'closed fault'. I've tried googling this to no avail. Anybody any ideas?

Thanks wolf but that doesn't tell me what, exactly, a closed fault is.
an open fault that has, apparently, now been closed on the BT system.
I took it to mean that a fault was registered and has now been closed due to a solution having been found. That was the case where I worked.
The fault will always be left open for a couple of days after a fault in case the same issue re-occurs - and then closed. If you are having a problem still, I suggest you call the faults on 0800 800 151 or 0330 123 4151 from a mobile and confirm with them the fault is now fixed, they can then close the job off - or open a new one.

Thanks all.
I had this with an BT Email problem last month, where it said that the problem was closed and therefore resolved....it wasn't.

So I reported it again and within 48 hours a very nice and helpful man rang from India and sorted it out in about 10 mins.

Handsome is as handsome does as far as I am concerned. I have criticised BT in the past but they sorted out my problem very well.
