Can Anyone Give Advice On Email Problem Please?

Here goes I'm not technical so don't expect too much

I have a Vista co.uk business accounts that I view through Windows live mail. alongwith my other Gmail accounts. At the weekend my Windows live mail kept trying to send a huge image file which clogged up the system for receiving any mail. It was so huge it timed itself out and I thought that was that. Unfortunately since then everytime I click 'send and receive' the system is trying to send this image file. Non of my draft files or 'to send' files within Windows live mail contain any draft message. Going directly to my Vista dashboard there are no messages waiting to be sent. This is the message I'm getting when it times out

To my knowledge I haven't been trying to send any image to anyone. What I need to find out is how to permanently delete this as its stopping my mail form coming in and going out

Gmail's SMTP server only generates that '552' message when someone tries to send a file bigger than 25Mb through it, which would seem to be a massive file size for a single image. It's possible that your computer has been hijacked by malware and is now trying to send something nasty (disguised as an image file) to people in your address book, so I'd definitely recommend carrying out a full scan with your security software and also with the free version of Malwarebytes:

With regard to your immediate problem though, I suggest removing the email account that you send mail through (i.e. the one which is trying, unsuccessfully, to send the large attachment), closing Windows Live Mail and restarting your computer. Then create the account again.

I have followed your instructions in so far as removing all the content from the email account but could not remove it totally as its my primary business account. I had already done security scans but I also did a system restore as advised on another forum and through this forum also managed to locate the image file which was a zip file of my sons cookery homework. He had unsuccessfully tried to email a stash of photos to his account from my desktop and had not bothered telling me . So in essence around 20 pics of a very nice Victoria Sponge cake have been jamming up (sorry) my PC for the last couple of days.

The next time your son wants to show the Great British Bake Off judges what a whiz he is with a mixing bowl, suggest that he uploads his zip file here:

(The maximum file size permitted is 50Gb, so that's 20,000 times as big as Gmail's server can handle. That's an entire cake shop full of pictures!).
He'll then be given a link which he can send to the intended recipient of the file, so that they can download it.
(You can ignore the bit about 'prices'; the basic service is free).
