My BBC iplayer plugin has the couldn't load error message and doesn't play. This is also so for ITV and a few other sites. However, youtube works fine.I have googled so have gone into about:plugins and everything is turned on with boxes checked. I downloaded Flash, even though Chrome (which I use) is meant to have it already. How do I turn it on?
It may be something to do with Chrome compatibility but the usual solution is to delete the plugin - reboot - then download it again. If you havent updated your graphics drivers lately do that as well.

However it might be simplest to uninstall Chrome (after exporting your bookmarks to a HTML file, so that you can re-import them later), also uninstall any references in your list of installed programs to Adobe Flash Player and then RESTART YOUR COMPUTER. (That's in capitals because it's important!). Then reinstall Chrome, import your bookmarks back in and reinstall Flash.
Thank you - it is up-and-running nicely now. I feel a bit of a timewaster as this is largely what I found online yesterday but I lacked confidence to do, what seemed t me, quite a major procedure.
I sure it would be an old version of youtube so please update it but if you face same error after the update then search Youtube Not Working blog on Google or may visit at https://newslib.com/youtube-not-working/
