I would like to open an email account on behalf of my local community. Is there any way I can do this without entering my own personal details?

There is a commumigate site where you can effectively have your own free website and email address
Ah - but they probably ask for your details although whether they check them I don't know
You can put in any details you like as long as you remember what you put. Who's going to check ?
I've got loads of accounts with GMX. For some I used my real details when I opened the accounts; for others I just made something up:
https://www.gmx.co.uk/
So you could get an email address such as [email protected] without using your own details.

If you require your own domain name though (so that you can have addresses such as [email protected] and [email protected]) you'll need to pay for both the domain name (ourgroup.co.uk) and for the email hosting service which you'll be using, so you'll need to provide your personal details for the payments.
^^^ Just a thought: If you do sign up to GMX (or any similar site), you'll be asked for your name. If you choose 'John Smith', all email from that account will appear to come from John Smith. So it would be better to enter your forename as something like 'Community', with your surname being 'Association', so that the sender of your emails will then be seen as 'Community Association'.
