Frozen Screen/emergency Calls Only On Samsung Galaxy Fame
4 Answers
Been abroad and thought the 'emergency calls only' was because I was out of the country. Now back and the message is still there, the screen is frozen and although i have found lots of advice on how to unfreeze it nothing seems to work. Done all the taking out of sim card/battery, charging, holding power/volume/home buttons - really getting stressed with it now. every so often it rings but I can't swipe it to answer it and can't swipe screen to change settings etc. Just stuck. Obviously getting loads of voicemails too as that keeps making the noise but cannot get into it to find out. Help!

If you're on pay-as-you-go check that you've still got some credit.
If you're on a monthly account contact your service provider to check that it hasn't been de-activated for some reason (e.g. because the payments were coming from an old debit card but you've now got a new one with a different expiry date or security code).

No, it shouldn't stop the screen from working normally.
