My tablet is a Samsung tab s 2 .. it is the fastest tablet I have ever owned by far. It is almost instant when loading pages on any site. You could not ask for anything better.
This amazing performance all grinds to a halt when I try to access Answerbank .. so much so that it has taken me more than 10 minutes to type this question. The screen just seems to lock up and wont do anything. If I wait a couple of minutes I will be allowed totype a few characters, then it just freezes again.
When I close AB down and go back to any other site the performance returns instantly.
What is going on ?

Ps.. the 10 minutes I quoted was a lie , it has taken 15 minutes to write this.

Try installing the Opera browser and accessing AB from that. Worth a shot.
I haven't used my Android tablet for ages (probably over a year) but I gave up on the native browser almost as soon as I got it. I found that Dolphin worked well for me and, only a week ago, RandyMarsh posted for no other purpose than to recommend it for use with AB:

Worth a try, perhaps?

hc ... I installed opera mini, it worked, which is a vast improvement on chrome ... the only issue was I couldn't view my subscibed threads as the AB page filled the screen with no sidebar vissible.

Chris .. I installed Dolphin and am typing this reply with no freezing issues ... I have a new found belief !

Thank you both for great advice.

@ Iggy ... when I got this tablet the first thing I was advised to do was install chrome and forget any others. As I previously mentioned the performance of the tab s 2 is amazing ... most of the time.
Having now tried the native browser as you suggested, I can once again use AB without the freezing issue.
Thankyou to one and all for the advice received.
Glad you're back. Samsungs and Chrome are great... Except for the answer ban!
... oops spell check scuppered me.

*Except for the answerbank
I use dolphin on Android for Ab. Works fine.

The native browser has solved the freezing issue .. keep forgetting to select it when browsing AB though. I soon remember when it freezes though.
