Reconnect Your Drive
4 Answers
I have a new notifacion message on my laptop.
It reads:
"Reconnect your drive.
Your file history drive was disconnected for too long. Reconnect it and then tap or click to keep saving copies of your files."
It is dated yesterday and to be honest I haven't noticed anything amiss at all.
I googled this problem but the explanations are way over my head...so.
What happened to bring this about and how do I rectify it please. I'm using Windows 10.

Nothing to worry about I feel, just a warning that you have not been running back up for a while. It is all linked to your " File History" drive being disconnected for longer than your personal settings have designated. Do not panic.
