Sound Wobbles on DVD+RW

As a new user of a DVD Recorder ( an LG standalone ) I have been backing up some of my VHS recordings ( made off TV not prerecorded ). The quality is acceptable visually - the only hitch seems to be music . When playing back a recorded DVD+RW the music wobbles like a worn out Audio Tape. The wobble isnt in the original.

I am using fairly low end DVD+RW Discs ( LOGIK ) so could that be the problem?
