Avast Internet Security Reporting Network Threat
3 Answers
Hello - I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction please, be aware that I am not particularly skilled in this area.
I have free AVAST internet security, I run the smart scan daily and the full scan every week (never any issues), also use Malware Bytes (Anti-Malware) which I also run a couple of times a week. Ran full scans last night - no issues here.
The Smart scan on AVAST is however saying that there are Network issues in so much as my Router password is not strong enough, I have never changed this since it was delivered, and never had any issues previously - it still shows as a protected WiFi service on all my mobiles etc.
Internet provider is Talk Talk and Router is a DSL 3780, when I look further into the AVAST remediation advice it is suggesting the username needs to be reset.
Again, I am not too savvy on these things, any sort of step by step advice would be appreciated. WiFi password has not been changed at all !
Thanks in advance.
