Kill, Kill, Kill Or Maybe Wait?

This week, when on AB, a couple of times a day the page freezes and a 'pop up' tells me

"The following page has become unresponsive, you can either wait for it to Recover or Kill it" however if I try killing it nothing happens.

This probably lasts about 10 minutes, if I click on any other open tab there is no problem.
If I open a new tab and try to get on AB it's still unresponsive.

I'm using HP Laptop. BT and Chrome.

Any ideas,
Thanks.

Same thing here, seems to have a successful fix -

Personally, I'd try it again after deleting your cache only - if that's no good, then delete your cookies & try again.

Thanks LIK, gotta pop out again shortly, will give that a try when I come back and post the result.
(A) Close Chrome completely and then add " --enable-logging" to your chrome shortcut to start it with that flag, you can even add " --enable-logging --v=1" to enable verbose logging.

(B) Right click on the Chrome icon and select properties and add " --no-sandbox" to the end of Target
(there is a space between the apostrophe and the two hyphons)

You could try these two options Baldric. Do you have any third party add ons or security programmes running?
I occasionally get that. I find that refreshing the page usually helps. When I was young and naive I used IE and it happened all the time.

So only just back in, so not tried anything yet, JD when page is 'unresponsive' it won't do anything including 'refresh'

Toge answer to your last paragraph is no.

Gonna have a look at above ideas shortly.
