Another Problem.

My Samsung galaxy has stopped working. I have charged it, put cash on it. But I cannot make or receive calls. It has let me set the alarm for morning though!
My phone history has a lot of calls on it nearly one years worth. I have been on google to try and delete it but it will not work. When I click on the log button nothing happens. I can delete each call one by one but that will take forever. Has anyone any idea what I can do please.

Just guessing but is there an app that allows you to look through the file system and delete the log file ?

You don't say if you have a good signal, but I suspect the call problem is something other than a large call log. Maybe get it checked out ?

Caran switch it off, split the case,remove the battery, take out the sim card and just give it a wipe with a dry clean cloth on the contacts. Put it all back together and let it reboot. No I don't know why it works but it always did for me.

Thanks for that suggestion Togo but I've fixed it. It was due to too much history of old calls. There where hundreds. I couldn't fathom out how to delete all as the log button didn't work so I deleted them one by one. It took me well over an hour. Then it suddenly worked.
