How Do You Sign Out Of A Tablet

Further to my post below,,, ive got to return my acer iconia One 8 tablet to the store as it appears to be faulty. Unfortunetly I cant sign out of my google accounts and obvioulsly don't want to return it with all my emails etc still showing.
Tried looking everywhere for a sign out icon but cant find it and I am permanently signed in.
Can anyone help me as a matter of urgency?

In your gmail account top right shouold be a coloured circle with your intital in it. Click on that for the sign out option.

thanks chelle but no coloured initial circle showing on tablet. (tho there is on gmail via lappy)

just found out the factory reset which will remove all personal stuff (which isn't much, only had it a day...)
Taking it back pcworld now.

There are many apps available that allow you to sign out of Google Play Store, but these are not recommended.
You can sign out of Play Store on your Android either using Android settings or Desktop. Read complete steps that help you to sign out.
