Windows 7 can be updated to Windows 10 and you've got sufficient RAM for it to run well. The deadline for getting the update for free has passed though so, in theory at least, you now need to pay (heftily) for the upgrade.
However I've seen a post on this site from someone who claimed to have contacted Microsoft and who was then told that they could still have the free upgrade anyway. Further, there seems to be a 'back door' route to doing it, simply by stating that you use 'assistive technologies'. See here:

However many people (including me) are happy enough to stick with Windows 7 anyway.
