File Explorer Further Info

Thx to all who replied. Further to, this is what actually happens I am using a TV for a monitor and on TV remote Source 1 No signal, Source 2 No signal. Source 3 PC screen and all is OK BUT when I click File explorer it opens in the task bar and when I click this from task bar it does not appear on screen.
Then when I press source on TV remote the screen changes and my wallpaper and file explorer and the task bar are on this screen but no screen icons also no cursor to open up any thing. I hope I someone can understand this and can help I AM STUMPED Windows 10

TVs could be doing anything. I reckon the window is off the visible bit on screen, i.e. more desktop than screen. Suggest treating yourself to a good monitor.

Thx hear what you say but why now after some time? Will try a monitor Watch this space

Sounds like the computer thinks you have 2 screens - and its extending the desktop.

Check your screen settings and if you see mirror as an option try selecting it.
