A Puzzle To Me

I have a laptop that is running Win10 and a desktop also on Win10. The laptop runs a home- group to a couple of devices mainly for photo and music sharing, the desktop does not belong to that home-group. Now any changes to Microsoft edge i.e adding to favourites bar or just in favourites itself is also mirrored on my desktop. Has anyone an answer I'm not duly concerned just intrigued as to what's going on.
