However, as I explained on the other thread, it's easy to spoof the 'return' address on an email, which is what actually ends up in the 'from' field. You need to go into the detailed email headers to check where it's REALLY come from.

As I said in your original post it is a scam and a very common one.
If you do not have a PayPal account then there is no way you can have had money taken out of it. I do have a PayPal account and I get these scam messages about once a month. They are all scams.
PayPal always start a message by Dear 'George' (or what ever forename you use for your PayPal account) . Never 'Dear Member' or similar. But as you say you do not have a PayPal account then you can't get messages from them so it has to be a scam!
If you do have a PayPal account then logout of email and log direct into PayPal using your password and look at your account, any legit transaction will be on there. DO NOT log on to PayPal by a link on the email!, that will send you to a spoof site where they will ask to confirm your bank details for a refund!!

Ta, Ed. Don't have, and never have had, a PayPal account - maybe, as I said to Chris on the other post, they got to me because my email address is my first and last [email protected]
Don't be worried about getting a PayPal account, it is very useful.
