Windows Security Centre Alert

I have recently removed AVG from my computer and installed Avast, I have just received a Windows security centre alert showing that my virus protection is turned off, yet the "firewall" is ticked and also the "automatic updates."

Yet when I tick on my Avast icon, that tells me that I am protected.

Can anyone please tell me what this problem is all about?
