Humax Pvr - Noise!
8 Answers
I used Humax PVRs for many years but they have got increasingly 'noisy' ie you can hear the over the tv sometimes especially when I am taping two programs at the same time.
This noise seems worse as I have changed to models with a larger hardrive - at the moment I have a 1TB model.
As this needs replacing and I only really need 350 gb for my use I have decided to save money and get a brand new (they were all previously refurbs) smaller hardrive model but with aall the same features.
Do you think this will make it quieter? When I hold it (working) there seems less vibrations - so I laid it on some bubble wrap which improved it somewhat.
Thanks
