My printer is very jerky and doesn't print very well. I've gone through all the cleaning and aligning but just the same. I cleaned and aligned 20 times and all it did was to use up the ink! Any suggestions please

You could try, as a last resort, deleting the printer software entirely and downloading the latest driver from Hp for your version of Windows. If that doesnt help then, as Hopkirk says, it may be time to retire it.
