My App 'updates' sometimes do not load as insufficient memory/storage available. Is it possible to boost the memory/storage? Usually I just temporarily remove an App then download the other's update and put the old one back. But sometimes the update is larger than the removed one so can't get it back. Most grateful for advice. Thanks.
You dont say what the technology is yo uare using but generally as OG has said Memory itself is fixed. The best thing to do is shunt whatever you can to the SD card. Also try getting Avast cleanup (free on Android), that will show you what is using mem and space and also allow you to free it. Run it just before you do an app update. However, if your on very old phone you...
Not to my knowledge. You can add a large capacity memory card to many, and then discover after paying out for it and installing it that the OS designers find it hilarious to only allow it's use for storing data such as photos, video, etc.. I did have an app that would move apps to it, with mixed results. If you root your mobile you might find a way, looking at the android geek websites, but all at your own risk.

Thank you all. Most informative.
