Gone Over To Google Browser, But I

haven't got any menus at the top, like history, bookmarks, tools or help, and the other bar that has the sties I use regular, like I have on F/Fox.

Also have lots of adds, downloaded ABP, but not helped much in getting rid.

any help please

When on a site or webpage, that you want to come on automatically with launch of browser, right click the icon in the top bar and choose pin it. To get rid of the ads install Adblock Plus, but do remember to turn it off when on this site. To save a site into favourites or bookmarks as it is called on Chrome, when on the site click the little star top right and then done, To find favourites click the three vertical dots top right, and from the menu hover on bookmarks and choose the site you saved.

... or go to settings 3 lines top right, go down to bookmarks, second window should open... go to import bookmarks and settings. Click on that then select Firefox, and uncheck boxes you don't want to import.

For ad block you also need to add a filter.
