I Have Lost The Sound On My Desktop

check your settings... where is your volume symbol..check it is not on mute

I take it that you have checked the volume mixer and so know nothing has been muted, or set to zero.

Have you checked the connections to the speakers, and if applicable that they remain powered ?

It is on all the videos I play

Try a spare pair of speakers to indicate where the issue is; or try your existing pair on another PC.

as OG says check hardware first

had similar hiccup yesterday, took out the cable from pc and plugged it back in.
It worked out OK

Well it does for me anyway.

We have lift off. I had pulled out the computer to clean behind it a couple of days ago just checked the 1st speaker and lo and behold it was turned off x thank you all x
