I have Sky and always record favourite programmes - however, after moving TVs etc with renovation - have noticed generally most programmes record ok but some are "failed" - do I need to do anything.

Sorry Jenny, can't help, would not touch Sky with a barge pole.

well I am holding onto them cos my friend went through hell when she changed to Virgin
I actually found Sky to be very helpful when I had a similar problem. I phoned, which can be a pain till you get through, but they then talked me through the help menu on the tv and fixed it. Good luck.
I sometimes get the 'Failed' on something I've wanted to record too. No obvious reason for it.
