Task Bar Problem

I have programs in the task bar I can peek at them and click to open (which they do) but as soon as I move the cursor off the task bar they close Help please

I think if you right click on the task bar, you should get an option to "Hide the task bar" It works on most versions of windows.

Tried it and didn't find the option, or selected the option and it didn't work ?
Should be in the task bar options somewhere.

Found "lock the task bar" but not hide task bar. clicked that but no difference

A thought. Have you tried your mouse settings in "Ease of Access"? try unsetting and resetting Turn On Mouse Keys.

Lock just stops you inadvertently making changes. You need to look for taskbar settings.

A problem. When I click settings either in start or on taskbar when I move the cursor to it goes off as original question

Have you tried a different mouse?

Will try that but I noticed now that the taskbar nprograms are hidden behind the main screen if I drop this the taskbar pages are there Hope this helps

A read through this may help Groupie. Thing is... when did this start? After an upgrade, or an app being installed, or a change of hardware... anything?

I think I would do a system restore then Groupie, unless you are a wiz and know how to change the Powershell parameters.
