Sky Wireless Connector
2 Answers
Hi, I'm about to install a spare sky+ hd box in another room which will be connected to one cable from sky dish. Can you tell me what advantages I would get to connect a sky wireless connector SC201 to the Amstrad box? Many thanks.

I'm a little out of my depth here as I don't have Sky and I've never heard of the device you refer to. However looking at one on Amazon seems to suggest that it's only useful for Sky 'on demand' services, for which you need a subscription . From your previous posts I'm assuming that you'll have no subscription associated with the 'spare' Sky+ box, so I can't see that...

Well if you have a Sky contract and use a wi fi box you can download programs and films and even whole box sets to your Sky box.
However I think if you have no Sky contract on that box I think those features will not work.
You certainly cant record or play back programs on a Sky box if you have no Sky contract on that box.
