If I take a sky box to Spain for use in a property there, will it work?

Also, do you know if sky provide a second card at no cost. If not, is it possible to get one?

The box will work fine provided you have a dish set up and pointing in the right direction.

If you inform Sky you will be leaving the country they will probably terminate your contract and not send you any more cards. I know this is true where i live in the Canaries (Spanish owned).

For legal reasons a Sky box should only be used in the UK. This is because the contract Sky have signed with the film companies and sports companies is only for showing in the UK.

This is not to say it does not happen, but that is is not legal.

There is no chance of Sky giving out a second card at no cost as this could allow two people to watch sky on two different Sky boxes.
