Yes indeed: we recently took a mobile broadband contract and I asked the chap in PC World that very question. He was unable to provide the simple solution buenchico has just outlined, and I had to google it for myself. The fact is most non-unlimited GB allowances are seriously at risk of lots of things, and there is very little sensible advice around about how to manage this.
