Sorry, but I don't fully understand what's going on.
Are the 2 tabs opening every time you open a new Edge window??
Do you have another Edge window open already, then when you try to open another, that's when the new window opens up with 2 tabs??
I'm confused too. The question refers to 'opening Google' but Google isn't a browser. Is it Google Chrome which is being opened, Microsoft Edge or something else?

At a guess, it might be that Leesub2002 has got his browser's 'start page' settings configured to open with two tabs (with one displaying Google and the other empty) but it's hard to be sure from the way that the question is worded.

More information, please!

Hi

Sorry, I use google for web. It is defaulted when I open the internet explor. So when I click on the icon google will open along with the other two tabs. I am not using google chrome. I hope this explains a little more ?
The following instructions are for Internet Explorer 11, which I assume that you're using:

Ensure that you're looking at the page that you want Internet Explorer to open with (which can be Google but can also be anything else you like) and that you've closed all other tabs.

Click the gear icon (top right).

Click on 'Internet Options'.

The 'General' tab will probably be pre-selected but, if not, click on it.

Under 'Home Page' select 'Use current'.

Under 'Startup' select 'Start with home page'.

Click on 'OK'.
