I am preparing a Power Point presentation, and I want to include sound clips of music which will last around twenty seconds, and then I want them to fade to silence.

Can anyone tell me how I make this happen?

Assuming you have copyright permission for the sound clips, I would juse Audacity to edite each clip and apply the relevant fade out etc.

Remember to set the duration on the slide as well.

Thanks Tuvok!

I have had a quick look at the software - is there a simple tutorial where I can find out how to record a track and then fade it after, say twenty seconds, and also where I can find how to record a track from part-way in?

Many thanks.
