I would like to set up a "throw away" email address. Can anybody tell me how to go about this. My current e-mail address is with yahoo.

Depends what you mean by "throw away". If you mean an email address that will work for a set amount of time e.g. to allow you to let someone contact via a public forum but after that will disappear into the ether, then this is what you need: https://temp-mail.org/

You can also set up a "free" email account on Gmail (google mail) or Outlook.com from Microsoft.

Both of these can be setup and used via a browser.

You can create the email address, use it for as long as you like, then delete it.
