tv room to room transmitters

can anybody give me any info on these xmtrs do they work ok and can i use one from an NTL cable box or will i have to hire another box how does one connect etc and standard of performance many tksx

I got a set of these free with the last TV i bought. They are made by that well known company "Tranwo"? www.tranwo.com and operate on 2.4GHz.

Have used them to extend a Telewest cable box to bedroom for occasional viewing. The picture and sound were fine but the bedroom tv does not have quality sound so can't comment on whether stereo gets transmitted.The infra-red extender would not operate the Telewest cable box , though it worked on other TV's.

OK for occasional use but get used very rarely. I don't think i've ever tried running these and the wireless network at the same time so can't comment on interference, though my better half must have been using the DECT phones at the same time, it's almost odds-on!. Hope this has helped
