Broken Screen On Samsung Galaxy Ace 4

Hi, I have dropped my phone and the screen now wont come on. The phone will still ring, so isnt completely broken. There are photos and videos saved to the phone on there, does anyone know how I can get then off? I have tried plugging the phone into pc but nothing happens. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Connecting your phone to your PC without Samsung's dedicated software requires you to tap some things on the screen (which clearly you can't do). However if you've got Samsung Kies installed on your computer you shouldn't need to tap anything.

So, if you've not got Samsung Kies installed, download and install it:
http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/

Then try connecting your phone to your computer again. Samsung Kies should open automatically (allowing you to transfer your files). If it doesn't, double-click the icon for the program.

Get a new screen? If you're on FB (or know a teenager who can help you), there's bound to be someone local who can fix it for you. I got my iPhone fixed by someone through a local FB page - cheaper than any shop.

^ Yes there are a lot of places that will put a new screen on for you.
Don't go to an Apple store though use an independant repair shop , much cheaper.
Also Apple will probably tell you it can't be repaired so as to get you to buy a new one.

Sorry I thought it was an I phone we were talking about, but same applies use an independant repair shop .

you could buy as new galaxy ace for the price of a new lcd
