You need to find someone with a video capture card and a DVD burner, both pretty expesive bits of kit. Pinnacle make capture cards starting at about �100 i think, but a DVD burner would set you back �200 - �300, so it's best if you can find a mate with one already. You can do something similar with a standard CD burner - you can put video captures onto VCD's which will play on most modern DVD players - the only drawback is that you won't fit as much on a CD as on a DVD. You'll also need quite a lot of hard drive space to capture the VHS to until you've burnt it to CD/DVD.
