Why isn't David Attenborough a Lord, like his brother? 91 and still producing amazing films that border on new research and understanding of our world. Okay, there is some controversy to outside locations vs inside shots on Blue Planet 2 - but still his track record is amazing.

Boot him upstairs, Theresa, for the New Year Honours.

He may have turned it down....
Yes, he should be knighted. So should John Rutter - but the 'luvvies' conquer all, alas. :(
Perhaps he feels he is too busy for going to the House of Lords.
I would like him to be knighted.
He's been knighted - Sir David Attenborough - for years
Oops! Thanks for the reminder, Prudie. I'll stick with my demand for John Rutter, however. He's written so much choral music in use all over the world. Absolutely beautiful - even my grandchild's choir is singing his work.
As it's been 32 years since David's Knighthood maybe DTC had forgotten.
Even Boaty McBoatface is really named Sir David Attenborough.
I've never heard of John Rutter
I do hope No 10 And Buck Palace get to read this
