Safe Mode - Help

For some reason my PC has gone into safe mode. I have no idea how to change it. I'm a bit dense when it comes to computers. Any help would be appreciated x

Have you tried turning it off an turning it on again?

Yes, I recognise that that might appear to be a facetious answer but the truth is that the way to get out of Safe Mode is usually just to restart your computer. So have you tried it?

Click "Start." If you cannot see the Start orb on your desktop, press the "Windows" key.

2. Click "Shut Down." Click "Yes" if you are prompted to confirm.

3. Turn the computer back on, allow it to boot, and log in to Windows normally.

Should be OK x

Hi . Yes Chris, it started yesterday, turned it on and off a few times. I'l running windows 10 :0(

When you switch back on, what is showing on the screen Mazie?

Windows 10, eh? OK, then!

1) Hold down the Windows key and click R
2) In the box, type msconfig and click the OK button
3) Select the Boot tab - in the Boot options box, uncheck the Safe mode option and click OK
4) Restart

I'm fine thanks, mazie....well over it, but still on daily omeprazole to control my reflux ( Duran Duran had a No1 with that...lol) x

Will have a Google to see if anything else is suggested to come off safe mode.....usually turning off and starting again works.

OK.. Did all you said dave, when I got to the Boot section the safe mode wasn't ticked, so can't be that. The screen looks exactly as though it is in safe mode. Any suggestions as to what it could be? It's driving me nuts!

Is it actually in safe mode or does it just look like it. If it is not in safe mode it could be a faulty video card/driver or a resolution problem.
It should actually display Safe Mode on the screen

Its not in safe mode , just looks exactly the same as safe mode

Open control panel and select “Device Manager” is there a question mark or red X against “Display Driver” if there is click on the ">" to drop the menu down and double click on your Display Adaptor and select "Driver" from the tabs at the top then select "Update Driver"
