help please

I would be pleased for some help as not sure what I've done but I have favorites on left side of screen and this was narrow but now fills half the screen what do I need to do to get it back to smaller size. Many Thanks.

Move your mouse over towards the border between the favourites and the rest of the page. Here my cursor is next to the top left "welcome back Stevie".

When it's over the border, it'll look like this and you'll be able to click the mouse and drag it left and right.

THANKS stevie 21 I have a laptop and tried your very good instructions but no joy, there appears a small black line and l did a left click but can't get it to decrease the favorites any further help please

Don't use favorites in a window like that - it takes up part of the screen - use the 'other' favorites at the very top of the screen to the right of 'File Edit View'. This will give a pull-down list that disappears after you have chosen a favorite.
