Acer Ferrari 4005

Are there any techo savvy people who know if the Acer Ferrari 4005 (XP Pro) is good value? I know a bit of the cost will go towards the nifty carbon fibre top but I have read a good review and it got a best value award, but are there better and cheaper laptops out there. Not expecting a reply on this one but you never know!

It is a very high spec machine, with 1G of memory, a 100Gb hard drive, a AMD 64bit procesor, and good graphics card.

This is about as well spec'd a laptop as you could expect.

BUT having said that it is around 1,400 pounds which is a lot to pay for a laptop.

It is a large latop, and not very light, so it depends what you are going to use it for. Will it be a work machine, or for games, or both, or what ?

In the end only you can decide if you want to spend 1400 pounds on a laptop.

You could certainly get a very good laptop for a lot less money.
