Recent Problems Emailing Photos From My Pc
4 Answers
Since the arrival of Windows, I'm no longer able to email photos from the My Pictures section on my PC through Outlook Express. I'm told there have been a lot of queries made about this issue since Win10 appeared. Does anyone here have a solution?

Outlook Express was shipped with very old versions of Windows (the last was Windows XP) and Outlook Express is no longer supported by Microsoft.
IF you are using Outlook Express then you really should be looking at using another product.

for example.....highlighting a photo in My Pictures, clicking on Share top right of the screen, then clicking on Email, up pops a box where you can choose size of photo you're sending, I choose Original Size then Attach. That used to create an email with my chosen photo(s) attached, but now it disappears completely and I've no idea where it goes
I suspect that Windows 10 hasn't got a valid 'file association' set, so that it knows which email program to open. See here to find out how to connect the 'Mail to' command with an email client:

(You'll also, of course, need to ensure that you've got the details of your email account entered into that program).
However I've never used that way to email pictures. It's just as easy to open your email program (or go to your email account using web access), create a new email and then click on 'Attach'. That should always work.
