Remote Computer Mouse - Recommendations Please

I prefer to use a mouse without a wire, but the last time I replaced this mouse, I found myself with one which takes a single AAA battery. This battery runs out very quickly. Is there a make of wireless mouse which takes one or two AA batteries, so I wouldn't have to change batteries so often ?

I have a Logitech M185, which uses AA batteries. I use rechargeables and the battery-life is adequate for me.

I have a Microsoft 3500, uses one AA and lasts ages.

I use a Hewlett-Packard wireless mouse, model MORFGIUO, power rating 3v 40 mA, which came with my PC when I bought it (new) about 3 years ago. The mouse uses 2 AA batteries, non-rechargeable. I have never needed to replace the batteries, but, then, I don't use my PC a lot.

I've a Logitech M310 & a Logitech M185 (both take 1 x AA) & have changed the battery in each once in approx 2 years.

Agreed - Logitech is a good brand, but find one on the £25-ish price band.

I went through a series of cheaper ones (£5-£10-ish) and none of them was satisfactory (big receiver / short battery life / not very accurate / too light for fast work).

The one I bought is now discontinued, but this is the updated replacement
