Jvc Lt-32C675 Television - Sky
5 Answers
I have just bought and installed a new JVC television from Currys. The tv has been put on the bedroom wall and is working well. I have many Freeview channels so the digital signal is strong. My older Logik tv, that the JVC has replaced, received Sky on analogue Channel 68, and we could control the Sky+ box (downstairs in the lounge) from upstairs using the magic eye. Everything was brilliant on the Logik, but we decided to up grade from 22" to 32" screen size.
Now for the however! However, I have found it impossible to load and retain on the JVC the Sky channel 68 which it has found. There are instructions within the manual on page 20 "Connecting to an Analogue Device", and the tv will find the channel. The problem is that the tv will not store that one channel. first thought was to phone the helpline. What a farce that was! the guy I was speaking to kept saying that that model TV (JVC LT-32C675) doesn't do it because it's only a single tuner.I kept saying that the instruction are in the manual, it simply won't retain/store the channel where they say it will (which by the way is at the bottom of the edit channel list). so i gave up on the unhelp line and went to store. They gave me the option of a refund/swap, but couldn't help on the storage problem because the guy there said that non of their TVs on display are actually tuned in to any TV channel.
Any ideas please? There is a good signal, I just cant store it! I'm just hopeful that someone on here can! Thanks

Have you tried pressing the "star" button on the remote when the channel is on? You should get a message "My Button Set" appear on screen when the source is stored. I think that on set up, channel 2 is saved for you in Network type.
Thanks Togo, I’ll try that later. Just a slight problem, though. Although the tv find channel 68, as I sai, it won’t store it, therefore it won’t play it. If I leave the analogue ‘signals found page’ showing 68, after about 5 seconds the Channel List Screen is displayed with Freeview channel 1 (BBC1) at the top, arrow up moves to channel 900 something, with the name of BBC Radio Gloucester. According to the instructions, analogue 68 should be shown betwwwn them, but it’s not. BTW, freeview 68 has been used, 68 does not appear twice in the list etc. I think I’ve tried most possibilities, but will try your ‘favourite’ suggestion later. Thanks again.
