Let it charge fully before messing about with it.

Sorry Mikey but didn't know all phones acted different. Model is HTC M10
Steve...thanks. That will give our Techies more chance of helping you. I would follow Tilly's advice and give it time, and keep your hands in your pockets !

Doesn't seem to be charging though
I have an iPhone, and as soon as I plug in the charge lead, its immediately obvious that it is charging.

This might help :::

Have you tried taking the battery out and putting it back in again?
Question Author
Thanks Mikey. Will read through and try some of the suggestions
Stevie....the 2nd of my links says ::::

"Typically when a phone is charging, the screen will display a charging icon, either in the status bar if the phone is powered on, or in the center of the screen if the phone is powered off.
The notification LED will also light up"

Also, if the battery is completely discharged, it may take up to 2 mins, for it to start charging.

All i'm getting is the HTC logo as if it wants to start but no led charging light or battery icon
Someone better qualified that me will be along soon, I'll wager. In the meantime, follow the idiots guide to the letter.
If the phone doesn't appear to be charging and will not power on, connect the phone to the charger, and then hold down the VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN, and POWER buttons for up to 2 minutes. This will force the phone to reboot and resume charging normally.

Note: Some phone models may not have a notification LED.
Question Author
many thanks Mikey It'll work out i'm sure
Stevie....let us now when its OK, as it will help other people, with similar phones in the future.
Question Author
