Have you had any messages about low memory or suggestions you delete some Apps or personal files?
Some basic phones that are a few years old came with very little memory and as the programs for phones are getting larger and larger it is easy to run out of space.

You wrote the text above in your question but to be honest I have no idea what you are referring to. What "menu"?

The problem with the basic phones is unlike smartphone there isn’t any upgrades so the basic phone cannot have its software bugs fixed like smartphones so essentially smartphones get smarter and basic phones are left in the wind usually succumbing yo wear and tear and mobile phone “old age” so imo your phone is nearing the end of its life.
