When I moved into my propery 18 months ago we had virgin tv put in, so have never used the roof Ariel, how can I find out if it works, I realise I could just put the ariel lead into the back of the tv, but the tv is on the wall and I cant get to it without tv being removed from the wall.

Could you not borrow a small TV from a friend or relative to try with the aerial?

No carrot I've asked around not many people have portable tv's these days which is a shame
