Windows 10 Version 1803 Has Arrived !

Took about 3 Hrs to complete installation i.e Downloading, Installation and Configuring. Several Re-Starts.....what a palaver.
We have fast Broadband.
Anyone else installed this yesterday ??

Biggest problem so far are the missing Icons from Desktop ,i.e Office 365, HP Services, Internal Defragment, Internal Cleaner, etc.
Tried using Search Box, bottom left next to start, but no help.
Wish they would leave things alone

It was meant to come out in March, hence the "03" in the name.

I loaded this on 7/4 with no problems then or since - there is a new feature pack available today

Upgraded 3 machine without a hitch. The most notable thing, apart from the slight changes is the layouts of some features is the faster loading speeds and crisper graphics, focus, and colours.

The feature pack installation took nearly 4 hours on a fast connection but no signs of problems.

Once you click on 'Check for updates' it begins.

I check about once a week but knew it was due in.

You may find Hopkirk that you have a small patch that first needs installing. Usually a Defender tweak. Then ask "check for updates" again. All in "settings" ….Update and security.

Those of us who decided to stick with Windows 7 just smile to ourselves when we see threads like this ;-)

If you've got missing desktop icons though, locate a relevant program from Start > All Programs (or whatever W10 calls it). Then RIGHT-click on the entry in that list and select 'Send To > Desktop (Create Shortcut).

Buenchico, I too used to sit and smile (I was still on XP) then two months ago my Daughter gifted me a new 'puter with W10 and I am a very happy lady indeed.
