Strange one to me. I thought I would charge my iPad up in the car so put in usb cable. Then it burst into music no music on my iPad. Then I realised music being played was music I had put on my iPod not even in the car. Can anyone explain to me how this can happen.

It could be the case that your iPad does indeed have Music on it, because your iTunes account could be set to sync your Music across all your devices.

Not too sure how to remedy the situation, but it might be a starting point.

Yes did think something to do with iTunes but why only my iPad does this and not my iPhone when it is plugged in the car.
It might be something to do with the charger. My iPhone will occasionally start up an app when I have it in a charging port. And as stated, if your iPod and iPad are synched then music for one device will be available on the other

Thanks for both replies. I thought if devices are synced it would happen when I charge iPhone in the car also. Not very techie me.
